Many books extensively annotated by Percy and several have interesting associations with other members of the literary Club connected with Dr Johnson, such as Goldsmith. There are 84 titles from the STC period, including the second illustrated edition of Chaucer (1542); 148 items of the Wing period including Miltons Poems (1645) and several rare Defoe and Dryden pieces
